Kraft Foods Asks 4th Circuit to Uphold Dismissal of Nuisance ‘Spam’ Lawsuit

Law360.com reports that Kraft Foods, Inc. earlier this week urged the 4th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals to uphold a lower court’s dismissal of a ridiculous “$600 million spam e-mail lawsuit” orignially filed by two self-spamming brothers whose business model revolves around such trumped up litigation.

Law360 noted that the U.S. District Court in Maryland last August had tossed out the lawsuit, “finding that the plaintiff had been manufacturing claims under Maryland law with help from his brother, who runs a similar racket in California.”
