Group Working for ‘Judicial Integrity’ in Madison County Getting Media’s Attention

With election season heading for the homestretch, a grassroots group in once-and-future judicial hellhole Madison County, Illinois continues to garner plenty of regional media attention as it works to convince voter’s there to vote “no” on four judges up for retention.

As reported by the Madison Record last week, Citizens for Judicial Integrity (CFJI) “seeks to unseat Circuit Judges Ann Callis, Barbara Crowder, Dave Hylla and John Knight.”

Illinois Chamber of Commerce president Doug Whitley has endorsed CFJI’s efforts, saying the group faces “an uphill push” with a limited budget, but he praised its public outreach and enthusiasm.
